10.7. WAS PAUL A PHARISEE JEW?
.
Although Paul is considered the cornerstone of the formulation of the doctrine of Christianity today, what we really know about him is elusive. Paul hid the details surrounding his birth, childhood, and youth. Most of what we know about him comes from the Acts of the Apostles, written by his friend Luke. Remember that Luke of the Acts is not the same writer of the Gospel of Luke as indicated in 10.2.
.
Paul claimed that he was a Pharisee Jew. Contrary to his own claims, he was unlikely to be a Pharisee Jew because of the following:
.
1. Paul claimed that he was the seed of Abraham and the tribe of Benjamin.
.
“For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin” (Romans 11:1).
.
It is doubtful that he was from the tribe of Benjamin. The Benjamin tribe ceased to exist in 539 BCE. The Babylonians ended the distinction between Benjamin and Judah in favour of a common identity as Israel.
.
2. Although the Pharisees were enemies of the Sadducees, Paul was attached to and worked for a Sadducee High Priest. The priest even used him to persecute and kill the followers of Jesus.
.
3. Paul claimed that he studied under the eminent Rabbi Gamaliel (Acts 22:3). But he did not use the Hebrew Scriptures that Gamaliel taught. He used the Greek Septuagint translation of the scriptures, and he misquoted them.
.
4. If Paul was a Pharisee Jew, he should have believed and acted according to the holy script he studied and respected. In other words, he must have believed in a single absolute God and obeyed his law.
.
5. Paul did not justify preaching a new religion that contradicted what he was supposed to believe in and what he claimed to have studied for years with the prominent rabbi Gamaliel.
.
6. After his conversion to Christianity, he went to Arabia and met the disciples of Jesus later, after three years. He then met them again after fourteen years. Why did Paul avoid the disciples? He was probably afraid that they would discover both his falsehood and his Gentile background.
.
7. Paul quoted pagan Greek philosophers, playwrights, and poets rather than the Jewish prophets of the Old Testament. If, as many Christians insist, the writings of Paul were divinely inspired and heaven-breathed, why would God quote Greek writers?
.
8. In Galatians 3:16, Paul addresses an illiterate, non-Jewish audience in Asia Minor. He turned Abraham into the father of the uncircumcised, which is not true.
Why does a “Pharisee of Pharisees” misquote the Jewish Scriptures though he said he was the smartest person in his class?
..
9. Paul ambiguously disappeared for fourteen years before his ministry. Most likely after his claimed conversion, he had to study Hebrew and Christian beliefs. So, he needed some time to acquaint himself with the script and formulate his new Pauline Christianity.
We may, therefore, conclude that the claims that he was a Pharisee Jew are untrue. Most likely, he was an antichrist gentile who invented a new mix of pagan religions that had nothing to do with what Jesus and all the prophets of God preached.
.
10.8. CONCLUDING REMARKS ABOUT APOSTLE PAUL
.
✓ Paul was an antichrist who tortured and killed the followers of Jesus during his lifetime.
.
✓ The conversion of Paul to Christianity and his appointment as the Apostle of Jesus are questionable.
.
✓ Although Paul was a Pharisee Jew, he acted in concert with the Sadducee high priest (Acts 9:2).
.
✓ The Sadducee authority ambiguously let Paul travel around to preach his Pauline Christianity?
.
✓ Does it make sense that a Pharisee Jew like Paul, who studied under the prominent Rabbi Gamaliel, preaches a religion in which Jesus becomes the divine son of God and the law of God is abrogated?
.
✓ Although Paul was supposed to be the apostle of Jesus, he contradicted his teachings.
.
✓ Paul contradicted himself about all the basic issues he preached.
.
✓ Paul was a hypocrite, a liar, a cheater, and a trickier person. Do these descriptions fit an apostle?
.
✓ Instead of joining the Apostles of Jesus, he went to Arabia for three years,
.
✓ Paul vaguely disappeared for fourteen years. He did not clarify what happened between his conversion and his ministry.
.
✓ Paul was in disagreement with Jesus’ apostles and belittled and insulted them.
.
✓ Because Paul abrogated the law of God. Therefore, he is considered the least in the sight of God.
.
✓ Jesus warned his followers of false messiahs and apostles like Paul, who would come after him to deceive them.
.
“Take heed that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name… and will deceive many.” (Matthew 24:4–5)
.
“For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect.” (Matthew 24:24)
.
“Beware of the false prophets, who come to you in sheep‘s clothing, but inwardly are ravenous wolves.” (Matthew 7:15)
.
So we may conclude that Paul claimed his conversion to Christianity as a part of his plot to ruin Jesus’ message and substitute it with his false “Pauline Christianity.”
.
Don’t be deceived and misled by what the Church tells you about Paul. The Church today is not the Church of Jesus. It is the Church of Emperor Constantine.
.
Read the Epistles of Paul to discover his reality. Return to and restore what Jesus and all prophets of God preached.
.
“For many will come in my name… and will deceive many.” (Matthew 24:4–5)
.
11. CONSTANTINE AND THE CHURCH
.
11.1. WHY DID CONSTANTINE CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY?
.
Constantine ruled the Roman Empire from AD 306 to 337. He cared so much about the stability of his empire. Constantine noticed that Christianity was spreading quickly and would become the dominant religion of his Empire. As a samart politician, he realised that the disagreements between the followers of different sects of Christianity and different religions in his Empire could threaten its unity.
.
As a result, Constantine decided to base his Empire on a single religion to ensures its unity and submission to his authority.
.
In 312, Constantine announced his conversion to Christianity. Whether Constantine was sincere or not in his conversion to Christianity remains debatable. But, sound evidence suggests that he remained committed to his sun gods and goddesses because:
.
1. Although his claimed conversion to Christianity was in 312, his baptism was 25 years later when he was on his deathbed in AD 337.
.
2. After his conversion, he did not make Christianity the state religion of Rome and allowed pagans to continue celebrating their festivals.
.
3. Constantine continued to depict sun gods like Sol Invictus on his coins after his conversion to Christianity till AD 324.
.
4. After his conversion, instead of depicting Christian symbols on his Arch of Victory, Constantine depicted sun gods like Sol, Apollo and Hercules and sun goddesses like Luna.
.
5. Constantine substituted the Sabbath observed by Christians on Saturday for Sunday, which is the day dedicated to honouring the sun god Sol.
.
6. He substituted the Passover, observed by Jesus (Matthew 26:2), with Easter, which was a pagan festival of fertility.
.
7. Without fair trials, Constantine viciously executed his eldest son Crispus and his wife, Fausta, by drowning her in an overheated bath. He also executed his brother-in-law and the son of his sister.
.
Therefore, it is more likely that the conversion of Constantine to Christianity was for political and not religious reasons.
.
11.2. HOW DID CONSTANTINE ENFORCE THE TRINITY IN HIS EMPIRE?
.
Neither the word Trinity, nor its explicit doctrine appear in the New Testament. In addition, Jesus and his followers never believed in or preached the Trinity.
.
The Pagan Roots of the Trinity
.
The Trinity is pagan in origin. The Church did not adopt it until the Council of Nicaea, held in the fourth century. There were then several pagan trinities in the surroundings. Examples are the trinities of the Ancient Egyptians of Osiris, Isis and Horus; the trinity of the Greeks of Zeus, Poseidon and Adonis and the trinity of Rome of Jupiter, Neptune and Pluto.
.
The call for the Council of Nicaea
.
In AD 325, the Roman emperor, Constantine, called for the Council of Nicaea to unify his kingdom on one faith. About three hundred bishops attended the Council. The bishops were divided into Judeo–Christians who believed in one God and others who believed in the divinity of Jesus, preached by Paul. The Council was also attended by several philosophers and followers of pagan religions.
.
Opposition to the Trinitarian creed
.
The true followers of Jesus, who believed in One God and Jesus as his prophet, refused the creed of the Trinity. Also, a priest named Arius did not accept the Trinitarian creed. According to the Church, Arius believed that although Jesus was the son of God, he was more of a creature than a creator, and there was a time when he did not exist.
.
The Inclination of Constantine to the Trinity
.
Through the Trinitarian creed, Constantine wanted to shorten the distance between Christianity and paganism. He used his power to settle the dispute concerning the divinity of Jesus and enforce the Trinitarian faith. He thought that in this way would maintain the stability of his empire.
.
Constantine opened the conference with an appeal for unity and harmony among the attendants. Then he gave the members of the Council the opportunity to speak and discuss their doctrinal differences.
.
The Nicene Creed and the establishment of the Trinity
.
The original creed issued after long debates by the Council at Nicaea is:
.
“We believe in one God, the Father Almighty, Maker of all things, visible and invisible; and in one Lord Jesus Christ, the Son of God, the only begotten of the Father, that is, of the substance of the Father; God of God, the light of light, true God of true God; begotten, not made, consubstantial with the Father, by whom all things were made, both in heaven and in the earth; who for us men, and for our salvation, descended, was incarnate, and was made man, and suffered, and rose again the third day; he ascended into heaven, and shall come to judge the living and the dead. And in the Holy Spirit”.
.
Constantine was behind the birth of the Bible
.
It was Constantine who commissioned and financed the birth of the new Bible. At the Council, the bishops debated and voted on the acceptance or rejection of different gospels. In AD 331, Constantine ordered Eusebius to provide fifty copies of the Bible for use by the bishops of the growing number of churches. Eusebius published these Bibles in Greek.
.
This Bible omitted gospels that emphasised Christ‘s human nature and embellished those gospels that suggested his divinity. The strong Emperor and his Church outlawed the earlier Gospels of the genuine followers of Jesus and gathered and burned them under its supervision.
.
The Fate of the opponents of the Trinity
.
The genuine followers of Jesus were tortured and fed to the beasts. Arius was condemned as a heretic and banished. Eusebius, who believed in the faith of Arius, gave his approval to the Nicene Creed, though he continued in his Arian beliefs. He later succeeded in softening Constantine‘s attitude towards the Arian doctrine to the point that Arius was allowed to return from exile. But Arius died after a short time.
.
Is there any biblical support for the Trinity?
.
The creed of the Trinity was never mentioned by Jesus Christ or any of the prophets of the Old Testament. It is not explicitly found in the Bible. Jesus never mentioned explicitly that he was God or the divine son of God. Therefore, he never commanded his followers to worship him. Although he was indeed called the son of God, this was only a metaphor.
.
Ironically, although Paul claimed that Jesus was God and the divine son of God, he never preached the Trinity. Paul even mentioned that Jesus was a mediator and that he was not equal to God. So, the Trinity, Constantine enforced in the Nicaea Creed, contradicts the teachings of Paul.
.
“Let the same mind be in you that was in Christ Jesus, who, though he was in the form of God, did not regard equality with God as something to be exploited.” (Philippians 2:5–6, RSV)
.
“For there is one God and one mediator between God and mankind, the man Christ Jesus.” (1Timothy 2:5)
.
The Significance of Nicaea
.
With the support of the state, the Church of Constantine was able to spread the Trinitarian doctrine. It was a fatal crime to express anything, publicly or privately, contradicting the Trinity. The Unitarian followers of Jesus were tortured and killed, and their records were confiscated and burnt.
.
11.3. BISHOPS’ DISLOYALTY TO JESUS
.
Acceptance of the story of Paul’s conversion to Christianity
.
The Church accepted the clamed story of the conversion of Paul to Christianity and accepted his claimed appointment as an apostle of Jesus. She also considered his distorted teachings a genuine source for Christianity, even though:
.
1) Paul was a well-known antagonist of Jesus, who never met him and instead tortured and killed his disciples (Acts 8:1).
.
2) There are three contradictory stories about the conversion of Paul to Christianity.
.
3) Paul told the story of his conversion without witnesses.
.
4) There is no evidence that Jesus chose Paul as an apostle.
.
5) The teachings of Paul contradict those of Jesus. Jesus never mentioned in the Gospels that he was the divine son of God or God. He never abrogated the Law of God or mentioned original sin.
.
6) Paul avoided the meeting of the Apostles of Jesus. When they met, there were conflicts between them. In addition, James accused Paul of turning his back on the Law of God (Acts 21:21).
.
7) Paul was sarcastic about Jesus’ true apostles. He belittled them (2 Corinthians 11:22–29) and even considered them dung (σκύβαλον) (Philippians 3:8).
.
8) Paul admitted in his epistles that he was a liar and a trickster (2 Corinthians 12:16).
.
9) Paul ambiguously disappeared for three years in Arabia and then for 14 years before travelling and writing his epistles. He wrote his first book around AD 51, i.e., almost 20 years after the ascension of Jesus.
.
10) Paul considered Jesus (Galatians 3:13) and God’s law (Galatians 3:13) to be curses.
.
The Church probably compromised with the powerful emperor and accepted Paul as an Apostle and the divinity of Jesus under the pressure of and fear of execution if they refused his commands.
.
The Church also created a legend about Paul, although Pauline Christianity completely mismatches the teachings of Jesus and all the prophets of God before him, the Church also propagated that Paul was the best interpreter of Jesus.
.
The bishops appeased Constantine
.
The bishops of the Church appeased Constantine by
1) voting for the divinity of Jesus Christ at the Council of Nicaea;
2) formulating a Bible that supports the divinity of Jesus;
3) replacing the Sabbath with Sunday;
4) shifting Jesus’ birthdate from autumn to winter; the time of birth of various pagan sun gods such as Mithras and Sol; 5) portraying and depicting Jesus as pagan sun gods;
6) executing genuine Jesus followers for heresy; and
7) destroying all records of genuine Jesus followers.
.
Compiling a Bible compatible with Pauline Christianity
.
The Bishops of the Church compiled a New Testament of 27 books. They chose the four Gospels of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, who were not eyewitnesses of Jesus. They wrote their Gospels more than fifty years after him. This means that they were affected by the teaching of Paul.
.
The Bishops also included 13 epistles of Paul in addition to the Book of Acts, which was written by Paul’s friend Luke.
.
With the help of Constantine, the Church used every means to confiscate and burn all records or gospels of the true followers of Jesus. However, still, from time to time, we discover a new script hidden somewhere. These scripts are usually different from the four canonical gospels. Some non-canonical gospels, like that of Barnabas, negate the divinity of Jesus and even consider Paul imposter apostle.
.
11.4. FORNICATION, HOMOSEXUALITY AND THE DISLOYALTY TO JESUS?
.
Justification for fornication
.
Marriage is a sacred union between a man and a woman and the foundation of society. The Bible condemns any sexual misconduct that occurs outside the bounds of a marriage covenant. According to the Old Testament, fornication violates the seventh commandment.
.
“You shall not commit adultery.” (Exodus 20:14; see also Leviticus 18:20)
.
“If a man is found sleeping with another man’s wife, both the man who slept with her and the woman must die.” (Deuteronomy 22:22; see also Leviticus 20:10)
.
Jesus condemned all sexual immoralities (Matthew 15:19; Mark 7:21) and even considered lustful thoughts adulterous (Matthew 5:27–30).
Paul also prohibited sexual immorality. “Marriage should be honoured by all, and the marriage bed kept pure, for God will judge the adulterer and all the sexually immoral.” (Hebrews 13:4)
.
Today, some Christian churches think adultery should no longer carry the death penalty because Christians are no longer living under the Old Covenant.
.
In addition, some claim that redemption is eternal security for them. Even if they commit fornication or adultery, Jesus will take their sin. But this practically contradicts what Jesus and all the prophets preached.
.
Jesus was not sent to turn people into fornicators or adulterous. All throughout his mission, Jesus wanted to establish chastity in the community. He wanted to preserve people‘s honour and protect their lineages from being mixed.
.
The law of God, preached by Jesus, Muhammad, and all the prophets of God, prohibits fornication and adultery. The law of God considers fornication and adultery as major and destructive sins. It even forbids everything that may lead to these sins, like looking at a woman with lust.
.
“And do not come near to adultery; surely it has been an outrage and an evil path.” (Quran 17:32)
.
Be careful of fornication and avoid things that prompt it. It is extremely detestable and bad path to traverse as it leads to the mixing of lineages and punishment from Allah.
(Al-Isra:32)
.
Justification of homosexuality
.
The natural structure of humans makes a man and a woman sexually complementary partners who serve the continuity of human life through marriage and the birth of children. So, marriage is a divine institution that helps raise children in an atmosphere of love. In Genesis 19:1–11, God sent two angels in the form of men to destroy the homosexual men of Sodom.
.
In Leviticus, homosexuality is considered detestable (Leviticus 18:22), and its punishment is death.
..
“If a man lies with a male as with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they shall surely be put to death; their blood is upon them.” (Leviticus 20:13)
.
Since the beginning of the 21st century, some Christian churches have allowed religious marriage of same-sex couples. Most churches defend marriage and oppose the legalisation of same-sex unions as marriages, but some others see that, through faith in Jesus Christ, homosexuality is no longer a great sin because Christ is the end of the guardianship of the law (Romans 10:4; Galatians 3:25).
.
Jesus never mentioned in the Gospels that he was the end of the law. Even though Paul abrogated the law (1:26–27), he still considered homosexuality a shameful impurity.
.
Islam condemns homosexual acts. The Qur‘an (4:16) demands the punishment of those who are guilty of lewdness unless they repent. Both the active and passive partner should be subjected to punishment.
.
If two of your men commit a sexual offence — whether they are married or unmarried — punish them with words and blows, humiliating and disciplining them. If they turn away from what they were doing and correct themselves, then do not harm them. Those who turn away from a sin and ask for forgiveness are like those who have not sinned. Allah turns to those who repent to Him asking for forgiveness, and is Compassionate with them. The ruling of this verse was replaced with the ruling that unmarried men who have illicit sexual relations should be whipped a hundred times and banished for a year, and married men who have illicit sexual relations should be stoned.
.
Allah only turns in mercy and forgiveness to those who commit disobedience and overstep the limits out of foolishness and impulse, and who repent to Allah asking for His forgiveness before the time of their death. Allah forgives these people, by overlooking their disobedience. Allah knows the circumstances of people, and is Wise in His decree and sacred laws.
(An-Nisa:16-17)
.
Fornication and homosexuality are forbidden. They are great sins requiring repentance.
.
“I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.” (Luke 13:2–5)
.
IF YOU’RE HAVING AND YOU’RE NOT MARRIED IT’S NOT CALLED DATING  IT’S CALLED FORNICATION
.
These two men, as the CAT scan and DNA tests revealed, were homosexuals from the Roman City Pompeii. A volcano erupted and the ash buried all the inhabitants of Pompeii in minutes. The bodies of people decomposed and the cavities left in the ash were filled with plaster. Hence we have today the plaster impression of people at the moment they died in AD 79. God punished the people of Pompeii for homosexuality as He punished the people of Sodom before at the time of Lute.
.
The Qur’an describes what happened to the homosexual people of Sodom in the following verses. “And We turned it upside down, and We rained upon them stones of heated clay. Surely in that are lessons for those who read signs.” (Qur’an 15: 74–75)
.
We turned their towns upside down and rained on them a shower of petrified clay.
.
In the incident mentioned about the punishment that descended on the people of Lot there are signs for those who ponder.
.
The towns of the people of Lot are on an existing road and can be seen by travellers who pass by.
.
In that which occurred there is a sign for the believers to take lesson from.
(al-Hijr:74-77)
.
11.5. WHY ARE THERE SO MANY CHRISTIAN DENOMINATIONS?
.
God sent Jesus Christ with one message. Although his followers were limited in number during his mission, they united around him in his faith. Today, more than 2.4 billion Christians carry the name of Christ, yet they are divided into more than 40,000 branches and denominations.
.
The differences between denominations are not minor ones. Denominations differ on major issues like the nature of Jesus, the nature of the Holy Spirit, the nature of his mother Mary, the meaning of the Trinity, guilt of original sin, books of the Bible, sacred traditions, baptism, styles of worship, etc. Each denomination claims that it follows and loves Jesus more than anything.
.
Conflicts and wars between denominations have led to millions of deaths. For instance, the Thirty Years’ War (1618–1648) caused an estimated 4.5 to 8 million deaths. The Qur’an, revealed more than 14 centuries ago, predicted the enmity of Christian denominations.
.
“With those who said they were Nazarenes, We made a Covenant, but they have forgotten much of what they were reminded. Therefore, We stirred among them enmity and hatred till the Day of Resurrection when God will inform them of all that they have done.” (Qur’an 5: 14)
.
Just as I took a firm promise from the Jews, I also took a promise from those who declare themselves to be pure followers of Jesus (peace be upon him). They also left out practicing some of what they were advised to do, just as their predecessors from among the jews did. I then placed enmity and hatred between them and they began fighting and killing one another, each one declaring the other to be a disbeliever. Allah will inform them about what they used to do and will repay them for the same.
.
O People of the Scripture — referring to the Jews who had the Torah and the Christians who had the Gospel – My messenger Muhammad (peace be upon him) has come to you to explain much of what you hide from the scripture revealed to you, and to overlook much of that in which there is no benefit besides disgracing you. The Qur’an has come to you as a Book from Allah, which is a light to guide you and a Book that makes clear all of what people require ftheir worldly and religious affairs.
(Al-Maidah:14-15).
.
Their hostility towards each other is severe. You would think they are united, but their hearts are diverse. That is because they are a people who do not understand.” (Qur’an 59: 14)
.
O believers! The Jews will not fight you united except in dwellings fortified with walls, or from behind walls, because they cannot face you due to their cowardice. Their internal might is severe due to their enmity to one another. You think of them to be one force and that their pedestal is one, but the reality is that their hearts are divided and conflicting. This conflict and enmity is because they do not understand; if they were to understand they would recognise the truth and follow it, not dispute in it.
(al-Hashr:14)
.
One may wonder why there are so many divisions amongst Christians. The answer is simple. Although God sent Jesus with one message, Christians after him have created thousands of messages by subtracting and adding things to the original message.
.
On the Day of Judgement, Jesus will reject those who have not followed his original commands or changed them. He will consider them evildoers.
.
“Do not add to what I command you and do not subtract from it, but keep the commands of the Lord your God that I give you.” (Deuteronomy 4:2)
.
“If you love me (Jesus), keep my commandments.” (John 14:15)
.
“Many will say to me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles?’ Then I will tell them plainly, ‘I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!'” (Matthew 7:21–23)
.
The essence of Jesus’ original message, like that of all God’s prophets, was to believe in one God and obey His commandments (law), i.e. to believe in Islam. Because Christians have deviated from the message of Islam revealed to and preached by Jesus, God sent the Prophet Muhammad to help them restore their original religion.
.
In Luther’s view, the Pope and the Church were ruining the meaning of the Gospel. Protestants didn’t believe in the study of religion through relics and sculptures. Their goal was to overthrow Catholic Papacy in Germany. They were also unhappy with the state’s dominant role in Church affairs. Hence there was a thirty-year war between Protestants and Catholics.
.
The Battle of White Mountain (1620) was one of the battles of the Thirty Years’ War that led to millions of deaths.

11.6. WHY DOES THE CHURCH USE THE SYMBOLS OF PAGANS?
.
The Roman Emperor wanted to unify his empire around one religion. Therefore, he used the Church to substitute the original message of Jesus with a new Pauline Christianity. The Church compromised with the Emperor and used different tactics to attract pagans and present Jesus as a substitute for their pagan gods of the Gentiles.
.
So, the Church depicted Jesus with the crook of the good shepherd, Osiris. She also portraied him carrying a lamb on his shoulder, in the same way as the gods Hermes, Mithras, Apollo and Dumuzi. They portraied Jesus with the same dress and shoes as pagan gods. Look, for example, at the statue of Jesus and Mithras below and notice their staggering similarities.
.
The Church also adopted pagan symbols. The cross of Semiramis and her husband, Nimrod (Baal), became the most important symbol of Christianity. The cross was a religious symbol for the goddess Luna, the Assyrians and the Ancient Egyptians. The Roman Emperor Constantine depicted it on the shields of his soldiers before his claimed conversion to Christianity.
.
Other pagan symbols adopted by the Church were the grapes of the sun god Dionysus, the shell of the goddess Aphrodite and the pinecone of Tammuz. The pinecone was used to symbolize the regenerative power of Tammuz and was used as a symbol for other pagan gods like Osiris, Dionysus and Bacchus. The pinecone still decorates one of the Vatican’s squares and the sticks of popes.
.
In addition, the Catholic popes of the Vatican and different Catholic bishops still use the mitre of the fish-god Dagon, which was also the dress of the pagan goddess of the Philistines.
.
The Church also depicted Jesus crushing a serpent-like the Egyptian gods Ra and Set and the Roman god Hercules. Jesus was also portraied with the trident used by some prehistoric pagan trinities.
.
Ironically, St. Peter’s Square at the Vatican takes the shape of the sun cross. This cross is the symbol of the sun god Shamash as it appears on the altar stone in the temple of Baal. An ancient Egyptian pharaoh’s obelisk is also erected at the centre of the square. Why was the sun worshippers’ obelisk shipped from Egypt to be erected in the square of the Vatican?
