CLASS 5 – RESURRECTION & THE DESTRUCTION OF THIS EARTH
.
The Moment When The Hour Will Arrive
.
After the occurrence of all the Signs, the first matter to overcome the people of this world is the blowing of terror, and that occurs when Allah orders Israafeel to blow the trumpet — this blowing is the blowing of terror. It will be looked at, and none shall remain from the people of the earth except that he raises his neck and then lowers it, hearing the great matter, which will have terrified the people and caused them great anxiety. Referring to the occurrence of this tremendous matter,
.
“And (remember) the Day on which the Trumpet will be blown and all who are in the heavens and all who are on the earth, will be terrified except him whom Allah will (exempt). And all shall come to Him humbled. And you will see the mountains and think them solid, but they shall pass away as the passing away of the clouds. The Work of Allah, Who perfected all things, verily! He is Well-Acquainted with what you do.” (27:87-88)
.
O Messenger, remember: the day in which the angel appointed to blow the trumpet a second time will blow, then everyone in the heavens and everyone on earth will be terrified except whom Allah has excluded from being terrified, as a grace from Him. And all the creation of Allah will come to him on that day, in obedience and with humility.
.
And you will see mountains on that day thinking them to be firm without moving, but they will in fact move like clouds move. It is the doing of Allah, for He is the one who makes them move. He is Aware of what you do. None of your actions are hidden from Him and He shall reward you for them.
(an-Naml:87-88)
.
“And these only wait for a single Saihah (shout (i.e. the blowing of the Trumpet by the angel Israfil – Sarafil)) there will be no pause or ending thereto (till everything will perish except Allah (the only God full of Majesty, Bounty, and Honor))“ (38:15)
.
These deniers of Muhammad (peace be upon him) are not waiting except for the second blowing of the Trumpet in which there shall be no return. Then the punishment will fall upon them if they had died in a state of denial.
(Surah Sad:15)
.
Then after a while, Allah will make His command and the trumpet will be blown, and all in the heavens and the earth, except for those whom Allah wills, will swoon away. Then Allah will order Israafeel a second time, and the people will stand for the Lord of all that exists.
.
“And they say: “When will this promise (i.e. Resurrection) be fulfilled, if you are truthful?” They await only but a single Saihah (shout, etc.), which will seize them while they are disputing! Then they will not be able to make bequest, nor they will return to their family. And the Trumpet will be blown (i.e. the second blowing) and behold! From the graves they will come out quickly to their Lord. They will say: “Woe to us! Who has raised us up from our place of sleep.” (It will be said to them): “This is what the Most Beneficent (Allah) had promised, and Messengers spoke truth!” It will be but a single Saihah (shout, etc.), so behold! They will all be brought up before Us! This Day (Day of Resurrection), none will be wronged in anything, nor will you be requited anything except that which you used to do.” (Quran 6:48-54)
.
I send our messengers only to inform the people of faith and obedience of the glad tidings of everlasting delight that will never end, and to warn the people of disbelief and sin of My severe punishment. Whoever accepts the messengers and sets right his actions, they will have no fear for what awaits them in the Afterlife, nor will they grieve over the pleasures of the world that they missed.
.
Those who deny our signs will be afflicted by the punishment because they opposed Allah. If they had not gone against Him, but fulfilled His instructions and stayed away from His prohibitions, then the punishment would not have afflicted them.
.
Say, O Messenger, to these idolaters: I do not say to you that I have with me Allah’s treasures of provision and that I can do with them as I please. I also do not say to you that I know the Ghaib, besides the revelation that Allah has shown me. I also do not say to you that lam an angel. I am the Messenger of Allah and I only follow what is revealed to me. I do not claim that which is not right for me. Is the disbeliever whose sight is blind to the truth equal to the believer who sees the truth and has faith in it? Do you, idolaters, then not think about the signs around you?
.
Warn, O Messenger, with this Qur’an those who fear that they will be gathered to their Lord on the Day of Rising, when they will have no friend besides Allah to bring them any benefit, nor any intercessor to remove harm from them, so that they may be mindful of Allah by fulfilling His instructions and avoiding His prohibitions. These are the people who will benefit from the Qur’an.
.
O Messenger, do not remove from your gathering those poor Muslims who sincerely worship Allah in the beginning and at the end of the day. Do not chase them away in order to win favour with the leaders of the idolaters. You are in no way accountable for these poor people. It is only Allah Who will take them to account. They, too, are in no way accountable for you. If you drive them away from your gathering, you will be of those who overstep Allah’s limits.
.
So I tested them by means of one another. I made some of them rich and others poor. I made them different with respect to their worldly fortunes. I tested them in this way so that the rich disbelievers say about the poor believers: Are these poor people the ones whom Allah has favoured with guidance from amongst us? If this faith was any good, then they would not have beaten us to it, because we are the people who come first. Does Allah not know those who are thankful for His favours, so He guides them to faith, from those who deny these favours, so He abandons them to disbelief? Certainly, Allah knows about them.
.
When those who accept My signs that indicate the truth of what you have brought come to you, O Messenger, then reply to their greeting of peace in honour of them and tell them the good news of My mercy. I have gracefully made mercy obligatory on Myself. If anyone among you commits sin, out of ignorance and foolishness, and then repents from that sin and sets their actions right, then I will forgive them, for I am Forgiving and Compassionate to the servant who repents to Me.
.
So just as I have explained what was previously mentioned, I explain to you the Qur’an to make the truth clear for the sake of practicing it; and to make clear the path of the guilty ones, so that it can be avoided.
(Surah al-An’am:48-55)
.
Ibn ‘Abbaas reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “How can I be comfortable when the one of the angel has taken the horn (by his mouth) and has inclined his forehead, waiting – for the time he will be ordered, and then he will blow.“
.
The Companions said, “O Messenger of Allah, what should we say?” He ﷺ, said,’ “Say “Hasbunallah Wa Niám al Wakeel. Tawakkalna Allahi Rabbina (Sufficient is Allah for us and the most Blessed Wakeel (Protector), and we place our complete trust in Allah).” (Ahmad).
.
Ibn ‘Abbaas said, “Indeed the holder of the horn has not blinked since it has been assigned to him, and it is as if his two eyes are glistening stars. He is looking in the direction of the ‘Arsh (Throne), fearing that he will be ordered to blow into it before he opens (his eye) again after having blinked.”
.
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Indeed, when Allah finished creating the heavens and the earth, He it created the horn (Trumpet) and gave it to Israafeel. He holds it on his mouth, looking at the ‘Arsh (Throne) with his sight, waiting for when he will be ordered.” Abu Hurairah R.A. asked, “O Messenger of Allah, and what is As-Soor?” He ﷺ said, “A horn.” “And what is it like?” He said, “Huge. And by the One Who has sent me by the truth, the greatness of the circle of his mouth is like the width of the heavens and the earth. He will blow into it three times: the first is the blowing of terror; the second is the blowing of swooning away; and the third is the blowing of resurrection to the Lord of all that exists. Allah will order Israafeel to make the first blowing, saying, ‘Blow the blowing of terror’ The inhabitants of the heavens and the earth will be terrified except for whomsoever Allah pleases. Allah will order him, and then he will extend it and prolong it without getting tired.”
.
The horn (or Trumpet) will be blown three times: the blowing of the terror, the blowing of the swooning away, and the blowing of the resurrection.
.
From The Terrors Of The Day Of Resurrection
.
This strange and wonderful universe in which we live, teeming with life and living things both visible and invisible, filled with constant motion that never stops or ceases, will remain like this until the Day comes on which Allah will destroy all living things except what He wills.
.
The earth will shake with its inhabitants; every nursing mother will forget her nursling and every pregnant one will drop her load. Children will turn gray-haired, and people will fly, fleeing from the terror. The angels will meet them, striking them on their faces, and they will return. Then they turn around, running away. They will have no protector from Allah. Some of them will call the others, and while they are upon that state, the earth will split into two cracks, from one region to another. Then they will see a tremendous matter, never having seen before something similar to it. And for that they will fall into such a state of terror and grief that only Allah has full knowledge thereof. They will look at the sky, and it will be like the boiling filth of oil, (or molten copper or silver or lead, etc.). Then the sky will be cleft asunder and the stars will be scattered. The sun and its moon will be eclipsed.
.
Allah described that Day as being great. His description of it as such is sufficient for us to know that it is more serious than we can ever imagine.
.
”Verily, these [disbelievers] love the present life of this world, and put behind them a heavy Day [that will be hard].” (Qur ‘an 76: 27)
.
Indeed, these idolaters love the worldly life and are greedy for it, leaving behind them the Day of Judgement which is a burdensome day due to the difficulties and tests in it.
.
I have created them and strengthened their creation by giving strength in their joints, limbs etc. And if I wanted to destroy them and replace them with people like them, I would have done so.
(Surah Al-Insan:27-28)
.
“Truly, that Day will be a Hard Day – Far from easy for the disbelievers” (Qur ‘an 74: 9-10)
..
When the trumpet will be blown a second time.
.
That day will be a severe day.
.
For those who reject Allah and His messengers it will not be easy.
(Surah Al-Muddaththir:8-10)
.
The fear and terror which will befall mankind on that Day will be so great that the mother who would readily sacrifice herself for her infant will, on that Day, be heedless of him. Pregnant women will miscarry, and people will be like drunkards who have lost their senses.
.
“O’ mankind! Fear your Lord and be dutiful to Him! Verily, the earthquake of the Hour [of Judgement] is a terrible thing. The Day you shall see it, every nursing mother will forget her nursling, and every pregnant one will drop her load, and you shall see mankind as in a drunken state, yet they will not be drunken, but severe will be the Torment of Allah” (Qur ‘an 22: 1-2)
.
O people, be mindful of your Lord by carrying out what He has ordered you and desisting from what He has forbidden you. The earthquake and other horrors that will accompany the Day of Judgment are a grave matter, for which it is necessary to prepare through actions which please Allah.
.
On the day you see it, every nursing mother shall be absentminded of her nursing child and every pregnant being will abort her pregnancy, due to intense fear. You shall see people, because of losing their senses, like drunkards, due to the severe horror of the standing. They will not be drunk out of drinking alcohol, but rather the punishment of Allah is severe, thus it has made them loses their senses.
(Surah Al-Hajj:1-2)
.
Because of the intensity of the terror, on that Day eyes will be not blinking and not looking to the right or the left. Because of their great fear, their hearts will be empty, not comprehending anything at all.
.
“Consider not that Allah is unaware of that which the Zaalimoon [polytheists, wrongdoers] do, but He gives them respite up to a Day when the eyes will stare in horror. [They will be] hastening forward with necks outstretched, their heads raised up [towards the sky], their gaze returning not towards them and their hearts empty [from thinking because of extreme fear].” (Qur ‘an 14: 42-43)
.
O Messenger, do not think that if Allah delays the punishment of the wrongdoers that He neglected their acts of lying, obstructing the path to Allah and other such deeds. Allah is aware of these things and nothing remains hidden from Him. Indeed, Allah delays their punishment until the Day of Judgment, the day that people’s eyes will stare in horror at the terror they will witness.
.
When people will come forth from their graves, hurrying towards the caller, with their heads raised and anxiously gazing at the sky. Their gaze does not come back to them, but remains fixed because of the horror they witness. Their hearts are empty and are unable to comprehend, and they have no sense of understanding due to the terrifying thing they witness.
(Surah Ibrahim:42-43)
.
Because of their extreme terror, the hearts of the evildoers will rise to their throats, but they will not come out, neither will they settle back in their places
.
“And warn them [O’ Muhammad] of the Day that is drawing near [i.e. the Day of Resurrection], when the hearts will be choking the throats, and they can neither return them [hearts] to their chests nor can they throw them out..” (Qur ‘an 40: 18)
.
O Messenger, warn them of the day of judgment. This day of judgment which has drawn near and is coming, and everything which is coming will soon arrive. When the hearts will rise, due to its intense horror, until they reach the throats, They will all be silent, with none of them speaking except whom the Merciful gives permission to. Those who wronged themselves through idolatry and sins will not have any friend, relative or an intercessor who will listen, even if he had the ability to intercede.
(Surah Ghafir:18)
.
The hair of the child who has never committed sin will tum grey because of the intense horror of what he is seeing:
.
“Then how can you avoid the punishment, if you disbelieve, on a Day [i.e. the Day of Resurrection] that will make the children grey-headed? Whereon the heaven will be cleft asunder? His Promise is certainly to be accomplished)” (Qur ‘an 73: 1 7-18)
.
So how will you protect yourselves – if you reject Allah and deny His messenger – from a long, severe day that will make the head of young children white because of the severity of its horror and its length.
.
The sky will split because of its horror. Allah’s promise will be inevitably fulfilled.
.
This admonition – containing an exposition of the horror and severity of the day of judgment – is a reminder that is of benefit to the believers. So whoever wishes to take a path that leads to His Lord let him do so.
(Surah Al-Muzzammil:17-19)
.
Blood ties (bonds of kinship) will be severed on the Day of Resurrection, “Then, when the Trumpet is blown, there will be no kinship among them that Day, nor will they ask of one another)” (Qur ‘an 23: 101)
.
Then when the angel appointed to blow the Trumpet will blow the second time which will announce the Day of Judgment, there will be no relations between them to boast through, due to their being engrossed in the horrors of the Hearafter, and they will not question one another due to their being engrossed in what concerns them.
.
So whoever’s scales are heavy because of his good actions outweighing his bad actions, those are the successful ones, by attaining their objective and being saved from their fears.
.
And whoever’s scales are light because of his bad deeds outweighing his good deeds, those are the ones who have wasted themselves by doing that which is harmful to them, i.e., disbelief and sins, and leaving faith and good actions that were beneficial for them. They will be in the fire of hell forever and will not come out of it.
.
The fire will burn their faces. Therein, their top and bottom lips will shrink away from their teeth, due to severe frowning.
(Surah al-Mu’minun:101-104)
.
On that Day, each person will care only about himself, and will not think of anyone else. Indeed, a man will run from those who are dearest to him, from his brother, his mother, his father, his wife and his sons:
.
On that Day, each person will care only about himself, and will not think of anyone else.
.
Indeed, a man will run away from those who are dearest to him, from his brother, his mother, his father, his wife and his sons. Ponder Allah’s Words (which mean):
.
{But when there comes the Deafening Blast. On the Day a man will flee from his brother. And his mother and his father. And his wife and his children. For every man, that Day, will be a matter adequate for him.} [Quran 80: 33-37]
.
So when the great shriek will come that will deafen the ears i.e. the second blowing.
.
On that day a person will run from his brother.
.
And he will run from his parents.
.
And he will run from his wife and children.
.
Each one of them will be in a state where he will be preoccupied from them due to the extreme anxiety on that day.
.
The faces of the fortunate ones that day will be bright.
.
Laughing in happiness due to what Allah has prepared for them out of His mercy.
.
And the faces of the wretched people will have dust on them on that day.
.
Darkness will come over them.
.
Those described above in that state will be the ones who combined disbelief and transgression.
(Surah ‘Abasa:33-42)
.
{O mankind, fear your Lord and fear a Day when no father will avail his son, or will a son avail his father at all. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth…} [Quran 31: 33]
.
O people! Be mindful of your Lord by fulfilling His commands and refraining from His prohibitions, and fear His punishment on the day when no father will be able to benefit his child, nor a child benefit its father in the slightest. Indeed, the promise of Allah of requital on the Day of Judgment is true and will inevitably be fulfilled, so let not the worldly life and whatever desires and amusements it contains deceive you, nor let Satan deceive you by misunderstanding the forbearance of Allah and His delaying the punishment from you.
(Surah Luqman:33)
.
Also Allah describes what will happen to people’s hearts and eyes on that Day:
.
“ They fear a Day when hearts and eyes will be overturned [out of the horror of the torment of the Day of Resurrection]. (Qur ‘an 24: 37)
.
Men whom buying and selling does not distract from the remembrance of Allah, performing prayer with perfection and giving Zakat, where required. They fear the Day of Judgment: that day on which the hearts will fluctuate between hope in salvation from and fear of the punishment, and the eyes will wander in every direction in anxiety.
.
They do that so that Allah may reward them upon the best of their actions and increase their reward through His grace. And Allah provides without account for whomsoever He wishes, according to their deeds; rather, He grants them in multitudes over the value of their deeds.
(Surah An-Nur:37-38)
.
“[Some] hearts that Day will shake with fear and anxiety. Their eyes will be downcast” (Qur ‘an 79: 8-9)
.
The hearts of some people will be fearful on that day.
.
The effects of humiliation will be apparent on their faces.
.
They would say: “Will we be returned to life after we have died?”
.
“When we will become decomposed, empty bones, will we be returned then?!”
(Surah An-Nazi’at:8-11)
.
One of the greatest of these horrors will be the total destruction of this earth with its mountains, and the heaven with its stars, sun and moon.
.
Our Lord tells us that this earth will be shaken and turned to powder, that the mountains will be made to pass away and will be blown away, the seas will become as blazing fire or will overflow, the sky will be rent asunder and will shake with a dreadful shaking, the sun will be wound round and will disappear, the moon will be eclipsed, the stars will fall and their light will be extinguished, and the entire system (of the universe) will collapse.
.
“The Day that the sky will be like the boiling filth of oil, (or molten copper or silver or lead, etc.). And the mountains will be like flakesof wool, and no friend will ask of a friend, though they shall be made to see one another ((i.e. on the Day of Resurrection), there will be none but see his father, children and relatives, but he will neither speak to them nor will ask them for any help)), – the Mujrim, (criminal, sinner, disbeliever, etc.) would desire to ransom himself from the punishment of that Day by his children. And his wife and his brother, and his kindred who sheltered him, and all that are in the earth, so that it might save him. By no means! Verily, it will be the Fire of Hell! Taking away (burning completely) the head skin! Calling: “(O Kafir (O disbeliever in Allah, His angels, His Book, His Messengers, Day of Resurrection and in Al-Qadar – Divine Preordainments), 0 Mushrik (0 polytheist, disbeliever in the Oneness of Allah)) (all) such as turn their backs and turn away their faces (from Faith) (picking and swallowing them up from that great gathering of mankind (on the Day of Resurrection) just as a bird picks up food-grain from the earth with its beak and swallows it up). And collect (wealth) and hide it (from spending it in the Cause of Allah).” (Qur’an 70:8-18)
.
On the day when the sky will be like molten copper, gold and other metals.
.
And the mountains will be light, like cotton.
.
No relative will ask another regarding his state, because each person will be preoccupied with his own self.
.
Each human will see their relatives clearly, yet despite that no one will ask another due to the horror of the scenario. The one deserving of the hellfire will wish to present his children to the punishment instead of himself.
.
Or give his wife and brother in ransom.
.
Or his closest relatives who would stand with him in the face of difficulties.
.
And he will wish to give every human and Jinn on earth in ransom, wishing that it would save him from the punishment of the hellfire.
.
It will not be as this criminal will wish for. Indeed, it is the fire of the afterlife which blazes and flares up.
.
Due to its extreme heat and flares, the skin of the head will come clean apart.
.
It will call out to whoever turned away from the truth, distanced himself from it, did not bring faith in it nor acted upon it.
.
And whoever amassed wealth, withholding from spending it in the path of Allah.
(Surah al-Ma’arij:8-18)
.
Because of their extreme terror, the hearts of the evildoers will rise to their throats, but they will not come out, neither will they settle back into their places, this is made clear in the following verse in which Allah Says (what means):
.
{And warn them, [O Muhammad ﷺ], of the Approaching Day, when hearts are at the throats, filled [with distress]. For the wrongdoers there will be no devoted friend and no intercessor [who is] obeyed.} [Quran 40: 18]
Those who wronged themselves through idolatry and sins will not have any friend, relative or an intercessor who will listen, even if he had the ability to intercede.
.
He knows what the eyes of the lookers secretly glance at and He knows what the hearts conceal. None of that is hidden from Him.
(Surah Al-Ghafir:18-19)
.
{… They fear a Day in which the hearts and eyes will [fearfully] turn about.} [Quran 24: 37]
.
They fear the Day of Judgment: that day on which the hearts will fluctuate between hope in salvation from and fear of the punishment, and the eyes will wander in every direction in anxiety.
(Surah Nur:37)
.
{Hearts, that Day, will tremble. Their eyes humbled.} [Quran79: 8-9]
.
The hearts of some people will be fearful on that day.
.
The effects of humiliation will be apparent on their faces.
.
They would say: “Will we be returned to life after we have died?”
.
“When we will become decomposed, empty bones, will we be returned then?!”
(Surah An-Nazi’at:8-11)
.
{Then how can you fear, if you disbelieve, a Day that will make the children white-haired? The heaven will break apart therefrom; ever is His promise fulfilled.} [Quran73: 17-18]
(Surah Al-Muzzammil:17-19)
.
Anas ibn Maalik reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “As people will be raised on the Day of Resurrection, the sky will Tatush upon them.” The Prophet’s saying, ‘Tatush upon them,’ has two possible meanings: rain will fall down upon them from the sky or the heat will be sweltering. And Allah knows best.
.
When people will rise from their graves, they will find the earth to be upon a different state than the one they had previously known: the mountains will be crushed and their peaks will be no longer. Its rivers will have ceased, its trees will be destroyed, and its seas will be aflame. All will be leveled, with its cities and towns being no longer. It will have shaken its tremors, and it will have expelled its burdens. And man will say, “What is the matter with it?’ The same can be said for the sky, which will be cleft asunder. And the Angels will be surrounding its sides. The sun and moon will be eclipsed; nay, they will have lost their light, both gathered in one place. Then they will be Kuwwirat (wound round, both losing their light).
.
AL-BA’TH WAN-NUSHOOR (THE RESURRECTION)
.
The meaning of al-ba’th is the restoration of the body and bringing it back to life on the Day of Resurrection. An-Nushoor is a synonym of al-ba’th; it is said in Arabic, nashara al-mayyit nushooran, to refer to when the dead comes to life again after dying and Allah brings him back to life and resurrects him. When Allah (ﷻ) wills to bring His slaves back to life, He will command lsraafeel to blow the Trumpet and the souls will return to the bodies, and the people will rise to meet the Lord of the Worlds.
.
Mankind will be gathered barefoot, naked and uncircumcised.
When ‘Aa’ishah heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ saying: “Mankind will be gathered on the Day of Resurrection, barefoot, naked and uncircumcised,” she said, “O’ Messenger of Allah, men and women together, looking at one another?” He said, “O’ ‘Aa’ishah, it will be too distressing for them to be looking at one another.”.
The clothing of Mankind on the day of Resurrection
.
We have mentioned above that on the Day of Resurrection, Allah will gather His slaves barefoot, naked and uncircumcised, as stated in Saheeh; ahaadeeth. Then He will clothe His slaves. The righteous will be clothed in noble garments, and the evildoers will be clothed in trousers of tar and a shield of scabs, and other awful garments.
.
The first one among the slaves of Allah to be clothed will be the Prophet of Allah lbraaheem (‘alaihis salam), the Close Friend of the Most Merciful (Khaleel ar-Rahmaan ).
.
On The Day of Resurrection, The First For Whom The Earth Will Split Open is The Messenger Of Allah ﷺ
.
The Messenger of Allah A said, “I am the chief of the children of Adam on the Day of Resurrection and the first for whom the earth will split open. I am the first to intercede. (Muslim)
.
The bodies of the Prophets will not decay or disappear as happens to the bodies of others.
.
The Prophet ﷺ Gave Great Glad Tidings For The Believers
.
It is related that Ibn ‘Umar reported that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “There will be no gloom or loneliness for the people of Laailaha Illallah in their graves, nor (will there be loneliness or gloom for them) on the Day they are raised. It is as if I am witnessing the people of Laailaha Illallah shaking the dirt from their heads as they are saying, ‘All praise is for Allah, Who has removed all grief from us.”
.
This narration is attested to by the Qur’an:
.
“Verily those for whom the good has preceded from Us, they will be removed far therefrom (Hell) (e.g. lesa (Jesus), son of Maryam (Mary); ‘Uzair (Ezra), etc.). They shall not hear the slightest sound of it (Hell), while they abide in that which their ownselves desire. The greatest terror (on the Day of Resurrection) will not grieve them, and the angels will meet them, (with the greeting): “This is your Day which you were promised.” And (remember) the Day when We shall roll up the heavens like a scroll rolled up for books, as We began the first creation, We shall repeat it, (it is) a promise binding upon Us. Truly, We shall do it.”(21:101-104)
.
Due to the severity of torture they shall face, they shall wail and breathe sharply. They will not be able to hear sounds due to the immense horrific torment that will afflict them.
.
When the idolaters said, “Indeed, Jesus and the angels whom were worshipped, will therefore enter the hellfire!” Allah said, “Verily, those regarding whom it was decreed in the Knowledge of Allah that they would be from the people of good fortune, like Jesus (peace be upon him), will be kept away from the hellfire.”
.
The sound of Hell shall not reach their ears, while they shall reside among whatever bounties their hearts desire. These bounties shall never finish.
.
The great horror of the hellfire when it surrounds its inhabitants shall not scare them, and the angels will welcome them with glad tidings, saying: “This is your day that you were promised in the world; the one you were given glad tidings of receiving bounties in!”
.
On the day in which I shall roll up the heavens like the rolling up of a scroll, and congregate the creation in the state they were created in the first instance. I have promised that it will happen; a promise that there is no going back on. I shall indeed fulfil My promise.
.
I had indeed written in the books I revealed unto the messengers, after I had written it in the Preserved Tablet, that the earth would be ruled by the pious, obedient servants of Allah: they are the nation of Muhammad peace be upon him.
.
Verily, in the admonition I revealed, there is a message for those who worship their Lord according to what He has legislated for them. It is they who truly benefit from it.
.
O Muhammad! I have not sent you as a messenger, except as a merciful one to the whole of creation. This is because you are distinguished with aspiring for the guidance of all people and their safety from the punishment of Allah.
(Surah Al-Anbiya:101-107)
May Allah make us amongst the believers!
